This is Lars and Mary from Denmark writing. Guests on the beautiful, comfortable and well-equipped boat "Kindred Spirit" the 26th of June until the 3rd of July, joining Barbara and Svend on a part of The Inside Passage East of Vancouver Island.
We got a warm welcome of Barbara and Svend in Campbell River, from where we sailed to Mansons Landing. Here the tides change the landscape dramatically revealing the bottom of a lagoon with thousands of oisters and clams, which made up our dinner both the 27th and the 28th: oister burgers and clam chowder.
The 28th we sailed to the nature marina Octopus Island Marina. Here we swam, kayaked, and visited the "Art Gallery", where sailors for many years have layed a piece of homemade memory of their visit.
The 29th we sailed through very lively streams in Hole in the Wall to Blind Channel Marina - a cozy and fine little marina. On the way we saw groups of dolphins jumping around the boat.
